CriticalI do not recommend this place for Rehabilitation after hip replacement it’s not Equipped to properly care for you. Most of the NURSING STAFF don’t care how they treat you horribly. They won’t get your medication on time. This place is a Nightmare. DONT GO. The administration go around with fake smiles but they don’t care at all about you. I’m retired and I only have Medicare and the kept me until my Medicare ended then I got kicked out literally. HORRIBLE PLACE. They only milk the system.

Rooms are spacious and kept clean. The entire facility is kept clean by having a housekeeping staff that spends the entire day cleaning. This group of people are not just here for a few hours to tidy up rooms. . . they are cleaning all day long. On a daily basis, my room is swept, mopped, toilet & sink areas wiped down and sanitized, vacuumed carpets, cabinets and window sills are dusted and wiped down as needed. Before admitting our loved one to Prairie Lakes, we checked and were told by the facility that they could care for hospice patients that were bed ridden and unable to communicate their needs. When we arrived, our family and hospice nurse spent a few hours explaining all of our loved one’s needs to the staff. • First night, staff attempted to take our bedridden loved one to the bathroom and dropped them to the floor. • Next afternoon, our loved one had the same sheet that they transported them from home on.
