I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Mom is in Prairieview Lutheran Home. It's pretty well kept up. I haven't had any issues with the services. They're very helpful, nice, friendly, and understanding. They have stuff three or four times a day, every day. They have church, they have somebody come paint their nails and do their hair, they have bingo, a little popcorn party, and arts and crafts. The dining area is nice. I have never tried the food, but it looks decent. My mom hasn't complained about it.

I visited this facility

I went to Prairieview Lutheran Home. Everything was so bright. The hallways were wide. The staff members were very caring individuals. You could tell that the people there were happy. When I walked in there, I was like, 'Wow, this is amazing.' In talking with some of the staff members, they work there because they want to, and not because it's just a job. They want to be there.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I have my mom in Prairie Lutheran Home. It is very nice, very clean, and very attentive to everybody's needs. It is very light and very bright, and there is very good ratio between the patients and the caretakers. There is always a registered nurse on duty; sometimes there are two during the day. The dining is very good, and the food is excellent. They do all kinds of things. They have puzzles, and they have all kinds of therapies.

My mother has been at Prairieview for nine months. The attention to detail in her care is exceptional and I am always updated by the staff promptly. Although she suffers the most debilitating type of dementia, she is now content and actually enjoying her life again. I could not ask for more.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I have been very happy with Prairieview. The care there is consistently solid, and you can tell that their main focus is on the residents. Luther Place is always taking residents to community events and even puts pictures in the local newspaper. All of the workers here have a positive attitude, and many are very stong in their Lutheran faith, which is important to my family, as well as to my grandmother who is a resident there. The nursing home is clean, has generous visitation policies and my grandma is seriously …

I visited this facility

Luther Place is a small, assisted living facility that is part of Prairieview Lutheran Home. This facility also has a nursing home and Alzheimer's and Dementia unit in a nearby facility for resident's needing more specialized attention and care. Lutheran Home is a clean and very friendly facility that is brightly lit and decorated for a friendly and home-like atmosphere. The staff is also warm and welcoming towards the resident's, and treat them with respect and kindness. They also seem very helpful …
