I moved to Cadbury at Cherry Hill. They're very supportive in terms of supplying your needs and concerns. I like the affordability, and the apartment itself is very warm and welcoming. The staff is very good in terms of assisting with anything that I need, and they're 24/7. The maintenance is very good. It's an older building.

Nothing seems to go as planned. Things are late starting or fall through and don't happen. We have a new food manager starting and hopefully that will help and change things, because the food is poor haven't changed the menu in over a year. Also finding out not always the truth is told around here. It's a shame to say these things but this is what's been happening lately. Mom is in Cadbury at Cherry Hill. I was exposed to some dinner aromas and they did smell pretty good. The staff seemed very, very friendly. Everyone was amicable and everyone said hi. They paid special attention to people who were visiting residents, which made me feel very comfortable. I enjoyed that. I haven't been there long enough to have any more feedback on the staff, but I know that they are very attentive to Mom. They gave her an evaluation when she arrived right away. At Cadbury at Cherry Hill, they have independent living, but they offer three meals throughout the day. It seemed pretty nice. They keep up with the building. It is always taken care of, and I even went and looked at one of the apartments yesterday that my dad would be put in. They're beautiful rooms, clean and nice sized. It's one room except for the bathroom, which is separate. It's like a studio. The staff was good and knowledgeable. The facility was pretty clean.

Since they've just switched over to a new company and all it's a little difficult. Right now it seems to be some lip service but not actions. But I think that's going to improve as we all talk more. They just got a new activities director so there's no way of saying how that's going to go yet. Recently, within the last 6 months there has been a rush to fill the apartments apparently without any assessment of persons taken in. The result has been confusion with respect to policies for smoking, pets, dress code, decorum, etc. The result is a contingent of indigent people that are sometimes without resources or guidance.
