I toured Prestige Manor's assisted living facility in Belleview. The people were nice, and the lady who showed me around was nice. However, when you walk in, it's not a very clean place. It's not even my mom's 40-year-old trailer that we got her out of. It was that bad. I wouldn't put a stranger off the street in there. They had a living room with a TV in it, and some dumpy old couches. They had a little backyard and a little patio where you could sit and smoke or whatever. I didn't se…

My friend is in Prestige Manor assisted living in Belleview. It's not a good place. A lot of times, they don't have food to feed the residents, and they don't get their baths or care for 2 or 3 weeks. I go over there twice a week to visit. Some of the nurses are okay and the other ones don't want to do their job. They're lazy, they don't want to work. There are some good ones and some bad ones. I like that I have a lot of privacy here at Prestige Manor. For the most part, the staff has been accommodating. The food is marginal. My room is accommodating. There just aren't too many amenities, and I don't fit the profile that's here. They could also have more activities. Maybe go to the movies occasionally and get out or go to a local concert in the park.

I toured Prestige Manor. Aaron was very helpful and very sympathetic to what I was going through and how I was feeling. He was very understanding and that made me comfortable. They showed me a shared room which wasn't going to work for my mom, but it was clean and I didn't see anything wrong with it. It probably would have worked for some people. Prestige Manor was rundown and old. It was not even a consideration. The rooms were small, and they had to share a bathroom and that's not acceptable, having to share a bathroom with someone else. The person who accommodated me was very nice. He walked me through everything and showed me everything. He did a good job of at least giving me a tour of the place. The dining area was not large enough. It was full of residents. It was like a dining and living room and they got a TV. It was just too small. I did not …
