I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My brother is at Primrose Retirement Community of Marion. It's been a long time that he's been there. He went there before I was appointed as trustee over his affairs. The place is fine. It's acceptable. I have no problems. He has a one-bedroom unit. It's assisted living, but he's at a level six, so he's more than assisted living. He's got a unit of his own. It's comfortable and it's clean. I have not tasted the food, but I haven't heard anybody complaining about it…

Buyer beware. Management is very rude. My relative doesn’t get the attention they deserve. Food isn’t that bad that’s about the only positive or I’d give this place zero stars!

Primrose is so beautiful

We toured Primrose of Marion and were surprised at how beautiful the place is. They have everything my mother would need and the Apartments were larger than other places we looked at. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend Primrose to anyone.

The Staff working there are very friendly every time we have visited. We have tried the food a couple of different times, which tastes very good. The building is big with a lot to do. My husband and I enjoy ourselves every time we are there.

Primrose had everything in one place. The director of nursing met with us right away and told us everything that they could do so that helped us with the situation. I think the facility has 84 rooms. They had a lot of options as far as for single people or married couples with single bedroom, two bedrooms and studio apartments. The food is really good and they have a chef who offered the meals when we first went there.

I don't think they were as hands on as we needed and they were a little bit more of a recreational type community. She would have been on the second floor and that was one of our main concerns, not having her on the main floor. It was a very nice place, I think it was just a little bit more expensive than some other ones but it didn't fit what we were looking for.
