My aunt moved into Ravenswood Care Center. What I like best is that it's close to my aunt's family and friends. Her apartment is very nice, clean, and comfortable, and they cater to her every need. The staff is very good and accommodating.

I visited this facility

I toured Ravenswood Care Center. The parking is not good for visitors. I was able to go into one of the rooms, and we walked over the whole facility. It's small. It has an inner court where the clients can go and be outside, but still be safe. I only met the administrator and the front desk. They were very accommodating and answered all the questions I needed to ask. We went to the dining room. She told me about the meals and that they would take care of special needs, and told me the time the staff would be t…

My father is in Ravenswood Care Center. It's very nice and very clean. We've never actually seen the room due to COVID, but we're very pleased with the staff. They have bingo, a place for them to go and walk around, game nights, and movie time. The dining area is always nice and clean, and it's very roomy. It is a little expensive, but it's worth it.

My mother was a resident of RCC for 8.5 years with dementia before she passed away. The facility was very clean, the rooms had a more home effect rather than a hospital effect. Always had excellent caring staff. If there was a complaint it was always resolved quickly. Activities was excellent, always something going on for the residents. They were very attentive at Ravenswood Care Center. They provided a lot of assistance, and they were very good. Communication was great. My mom was in a room with another lady, and it was a nice facility for her. The dining room was very nice, and the common areas were comfortable. It did not look institutional. The people that work there knew the residents on a first name basis.
