My husband is in VA Nursing Home (Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home). This is a nursing home for veterans, and most of the people there are not eligible for assisted living because they cannot help themselves. It is fine. He has only been there for a month, but so far so good. The food is fine. He doesn't always have exactly what he wants to eat, but it is good food. They have double rooms -- which is 2 people in a room -- and it is not really spacious, but it is enough. They do have activities. I know…

Richard M. Campbell veteran's nursing home is a great place for family members who are getting up in the years and aren't able to do most things by themselves anymore. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel very welcome. The nurses seem to know a lot about what they are doing with their patients. All nurses are registered and licensed and help patients twenty four hours a day. The facility is very clean and well maintained.
