River Commons

I toured this community and it was really nice, but the rooms were pretty small compared to several other places. Everything else seemed great!

They seemed to be very friendly. It was a nice place, but my family picked another place, for my loved one.

Swimming Pool!

The current manager of the property [name removed] is very good at what she does and is a very helpful asset to the community. The staff is amazing at helping you work through issues whether they are monetary or hospital stays, etc. I would recommend River Commons to others looking for independent living.

Friendly staff and a nice community

Our loved one was only there for a couple months for respite care and she really enjoyed her stay. We live out of state so we never laid eyes on the community but she never complained about the cleanliness of the place. She was very happy with her room, but the only complaint she had, had to do with the mail. There was some inconsistency with receiving mail sometimes and not receiving mail other times - but we think since she did not have a permanent room there she did not get a PO Box like the other residents did.…

Great staff

The staff has all been incredibly friendly and helpful. They are very responsive when you call them if you have any questions or concerns. My loved ones say the food can be hit or miss. They are doing boxed dinners on the weekends and they do not like those very much. Overall I would recommend River Commons to others.

This was a smaller community and we were looking for a community a little bigger and wanted more activities for my loved one to do.
