CriticalThe food is quite satisfactory, there doesn't seem to be staff available when needed and they do not get things done in a timely fashion at all. My father has a sitter as he is working towards independence and she complains almost everyday. She is sweet and hard working and a total advocate for him. We have put in work orders that are not completed. His tv still isn't working correctly since he started there about 6 weeks ago. It is somewhat dated but I think they are renovating parts of it. PositiveI felt welcomed by every staff member on my visit and managers changed right after I moved in and the new managers are the best -- they check with us daily and keep us informed on any upon g changes and every staff member knows us by name and speaks every time we pass them and check on how we are. I do feel like we are a family because of the very interesting residents from all walks of life and from many different places. I so much enjoying returning to past decades where we all can share similar and different exp…

I actually met a woman who had just gotten a puppy so that question was answered without me having to ask. Next we toured 4 options for space and lighting. I don’t particularly like or need two bedrooms but the space felt like…

CriticalI overheard our manager telling a resident - the resident struggles to get by with a walker - that if she can't pick up her dog's waste, she and her dog shouldn't be here. Most of my neighbors use something to help them, wheelchair, walker, something. None of them look like they could pick up anything off the ground without falling. River's Edge don't tell you this stuff in the tour or in the advertising. Overall, it seems a very unsympathetic attitude especially for a place that's supposed to be for elderly people…
