Great setting for quality senior care

Staff was generally caring and responsive. Food was tasty and sufficient - her appetite was and remains healthy. I moved her to Mariella to be closer to me (6 miles vs 41). Yes I would recommend with caveat as with all facilities that staff oversight must be constant by a family member

Salterra at Carson Valley

All 5s except for 7. We are still looking into that. It has only been a month and we are still observing how engaged my mother in law is. One of the things that that impressed us about Sarah was the friendliness and kindness of the staff not only to us as visitors, but towards the residents. And also the residents all looked happy to be there.

Perfect fit

We like that it was single story and their unit also has an exit to the outside. It's smaller and is more personable to the other residents and staff.

The director of care is responsive and professional. Most staff are good - attentive to residents and seem like they want to be there helping others. Every family will have unique circumstances and flexible and adaptable staff are requires to weather evolving storms. Overall glad I chose Salterra for my Mom.

My husband and I toured Salterra with my parents - as well as another assisted living facility recently. They chose Salterra as my mom felt more comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and genuine. The apartments are well kept and the layout very nice.

Six month resident: very attentive and friendly staff, from first visit through the move-in and continuing care. My mom has been nothing but happy since arriving. Great food, great service, very helpful staff. We highly recommend joining the community. Everyone cares and works toward one goal: making the resident feel comfortable, cared for, and safe.
