CriticalThis place is definitely not for rehab. This facility had one nurse and one aid on a floor with 30 patients. The patients weren't getting their medications in a timely manner. Wounds were not be tended to and pains medications were hours off the schedule. The doctor doesn't meet the patients. Don't believe a word they say. My mother thought she was having a heart attack and she was mocked. Thank god I had someone with her to call an ambulance or I can guarantee she would have died in this horrible place. This place…

PositiveMy father has been in Sans Souci nursing home for close to a month now. Everybody's friendly there. He's probably not having a good time, but he's comfortable and he's happy with everybody there. He has a heater/air-conditioner, which he's allowed to control. He has a window. The accommodations are good. The bathroom is very clean. He's on a restricted diet, so the food that they're giving has no taste, but that's because he has diabetes. He's complaining about it becaus…

CriticalZero stars...This is a WARNING to the public!! Please do not make the mistake of leaving your loved ones in the care of the staff at San Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing center located in Yonkers. To make a very long story short. Yesterday my grandmother fell while under the supervision/care of the staff of this facility. As a result, she fractured her hip and has horrible scrapes on her arm . They waited SIX hours to notify us of the incident and it took another two hours for her to be sent to the hospital & t…

PositiveI was a resident at Sans Souci and I must say thank you. I am very grateful for the love that was shown to me from the workers of the facility, all the way from the kitchen staff, maintenance workers, recreation, therapy, nurses to the administration. Never was it a time when an employee ever came off rude to me. My stay there was nothing but hospitable. The place is exactly what it means, without worry, free of care....

CriticalThey lost ALL of my father's clothes, and denied responsibility. When I went to complain, there were COCKROACHES all over the nurse's station! And they nurses didn't seem to care! Aides are useless. Stay away!

PositiveRight now, my mother is in the hospital, and then after that, she is going to go to Sans Souci Rehab. It is nearby, and I was referred to it by the hospital that she is in. The staff is very good, very friendly, and loving, and their physical therapy is aggressive, but compassionate. The rooms are comfortable, good quality, and clean. They have more activities than any other nursing homes that I deal with in the area. They try to keep the people busy. The food is decent, and it is a good place, convenient, and effi…
