PositiveFeeling like a part of a community that cares
This was a good move for [name removed]. The staff is friendly and competent. The place is clean, but more than that, the staff visits, checks on folks and treats them like friends/people they care about. [name removed] has a special diet and the dietitian/chef have made sure to meet his needs. Paul enjoys his meals and the positive atmosphere when he's with the other residents.

Staff was lacking the director was out on medical leave starting the first day [name removed] was there. The nurse walked out the same day. I don't believe they checked on [name removed] every 2 hours. I think if she was sleeping they let her sleep. There was no toileting schedule as promised. We have not been able to access the reports filed with the state when she was sent to the hospital 2 different times. Room was dirty when we moved her in. No lamp or basket dirty dresser drawers. We are so glad that our loved one moved to Seneca Lake Terrace. I just talked to him and he commented "they really pay attention to me here, everyone is so nice to me" He's referring to staff and other residents. He feels at home there and is happy...which makes me happy. Staff is glad to answer questions, respond to residents concerns and adjust to the individual needs of each resident personally...it feels like family.
