PositiveI have to say that the care my mother has been receiving at Serenity has been amazing. Mt mom has early dementia, and the staff couldn't be more patient with her. My mom loves them all. The facility may be older but its the care that counts. The staff will even feed my mom because she is forgetting how to eat. The nurses are wonderful and the Director of Nursing is very responsive to our needs. She makes sure that all the residents get great care. The food is good and the rooms are clean.

PositiveMy mom was here for only 7 months in the long term unit. She had some dementia and came from assistant living for 5 years. She never thought of it as a nursing home. She still thought she was in assistant living.. To the family, that is the biggest compliment a nursing home can receive.. I would recommend Serenity Hill to others..thank you for being there for mom, especially during this time. She loved you all..

CriticalMy mom will be 98, oldest resident at Serenity. She was in an assistant living for 4 1/2 years. She recently had some situations that we needed to place her in a nursing home. My husband and I were leaving for a Mediterranean cruise and needed to expedite a home for her, Serenity had an availability for her. We had not known anything about Serenity at the time, other than it was one level and not too many residents. It has been 2 months. My mother is very pleased with the staff, food, cleanliness and how they pla…

PositiveI love them and they are great. They are very polite. I have been to 50 different nursing homes. It is clean with no smell. They have enough staff. We like the activities director, she is amazing. In the beginning the therapy was wonderful. They had her walking in a week. My loved one will not do the therapy anymore though.

PositiveMy dad is there long term now. The nurses are excellent. The staff are delightful and helpful with my dad. I like the activities director who is looking for certain books for my dad that he likes. Rehab went great and now he is in the nursing side and is doing well. The PT person was fantastic. Communication is excellent. I like the social worker in the office. I am discerning and it is not fancy but it is completely clean. I think the food is wonderful and he complains and they will make changes for him. They went…
