PositiveI am happy with many activities, live music every week, lots of encouragement to get involved. My dad loves the food. All the staff I have worked with have been very helpful. [name removed] at the front desk is my favorite. Overall very pleased. I would recommend the community to others.

CriticalOverall, most of the nurses and aides are good, although some are much better than others when it comes to handling the specific needs of memory care residents. Communication is an area that could be improved. I’m not able to speak directly with the caregivers about how he is doing or discuss his needs unless I’m there in person, which is one reason I visit almost every day. More consistent communication with family members would provide greater peace of mind. The facility offers activities, although he is selecti…

PositiveThe staff was so kind to my mom, who has dementia. The room was perfect for her and she said she liked the food. I'm so grateful they offer respite care so I can leave town and not worry about my mom. She'll be going there again for respite care.

CriticalOverall experience. The aids are very nice a lot of turnover with the aids don't see a lot of activities housekeeping could be a lot better than what it is. There's several times I've come in and sweep my mom's floor my mom really doesn't like the food. The food is really bland the room size is ok. She was sharing a room until her roommate passed away. But not enough closet space but hospice 360 comes in several days a week. And it helps my mom with her baths, read scripture and check on her health i'm thankful fo…

PositiveGreat facility for my mom for respite care. The tour of the facility was great and gave me a better understanding of what my mom will be doing while she's there, the type of care she'll get and the type of help the staff can give her.

PositiveI visited Shawnee Estates Senior Living's facility for my wife's uncle, and it was a nice place. The people were also nice, so I had no complaints about the facility. It just wasn't an option that we could afford with our uncle's limited income. Other than that, the memory care apartments were really nice. There were living spaces and bathrooms, and it was a secure facility. Obviously, the staff members are available and looking in on the residents. The staff member who gave the tour was also re…
