The staff is wonderful and friendly. They give top notch care. There are plenty of activities for the residents to do. The food is tasty and has a good variety and alternative options. It is a clean building and they make sure the rooms are kept clean, laundry washed and residents bathed. They have good apartment sizes. Good space but not too much.

CriticalDisappointed. I had higher expectations on what they said they can deliver.
The Assisted living staff is not as friendly as the Memory Care staff. A Memory Care Director is needed desperately. The residents need to be engaged with real activities and not by reading from someone's cell phone. The common area, kitchen, dining room area needs to be renovated and fumigated. There are roaches. It's dirty, the furniture is old, two small, and smells of urine, and the carpet needs to be replaced with something more efficient.

We visited Silver Comet Village's independent living community in Powder Springs, and it's a little small for the price. We love their kitchen area and bedroom, but the living area is very small, so it won't work well for our mother. The whole area and the community are very beautiful, though. It has a very nice-sized kitchen area, and a beautiful bathroom with a seat in the shower. They have a beautiful carpet, brand new wall paintings, and pictures. Stopped in last week to visit with an old high school friend who I haven’t seen in years. She looked phenomenal and loves the community. It’s a pretty big place but I was greeted by every staff member while I was there visiting. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I definitely recommend this community if you are looking for a place for your loved one!
