PositiveThe whole initial setup for getting my mother into the facility was very simple. The staff was extremely helpful and supportive. They continue to be very supportive and friendly. Updates on my mother come weekly multiple times letting us know what and how she is doing. This helps us to feel more comfortable and confident about our decision to move her into the program.

PositiveI feel safe knowing my mom is with these people who take care of her. They really do get to know the patients and treat them with kindness and respect. Example. My mom had an accident that made her dementia worse but, as she got better her memory returned a bit. One of the staff member's noticed that change. They moved her out of memory care and into assisted living where she has more freedom. She is much happier. I thought that was amazing. Sometimes you don't know what you can or should do. CriticalMy mom is living in Silvercrest Garner Senior Living in assisted care. They're pretty, pretty nice. Her room is fine. It's plenty big; it's good enough. It is a one-bedroom unit. They have two chefs. One works over in the independent care, and I guess the other one works on the other side. PositiveI had a friend in Silvercrest Garner Retirement Community. It's very nice, and she had a beautiful room. I've known people there, and they were happy there. PositiveThe facility is very welcoming from the minute you step through the door. Staff is quick to greet you and follow up with positive conversations. The facility is very clean and the upkeep is very noticeable. Many times I have seen them touching up the hall, doors, inside the elevator and other areas. The staff truly engages with all residents. PositiveThey were very friendly on the independent side have an outstanding nurse and the food was good. The apartment sizes are good. You get wi-fi. And Tv. All utilities are also included. There is a difference between independent and assisted.
