I am/was a resident of this facility

As of August 2026, the executive director was FIRED, Then the ED of another facility is now managing this facility and another facility. There are now only 2 housekeepers in the entire facility. The location is GREAT and SAFE. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood of the city with mountain views. The activities director was recently FIRED. The rooms get renovated with quality materials which is a PLUS. There is only ONE maintenance person onsite. The maintenance director quit recently. The monthly rent is aff…

Size (studio) was generous, with the best view in the city. Cleanliness was excellent. Staff was great, especially the Universe home health care staff (separate business, but housed in Solista). We did have to ask twice for a copy of the leases. They were very responsive to maintenance issues. They have an EXCELLENT relationship with Advanced Healthcare Hospice, a Colorado Springs business. Food was generous and it was fine. Comfort food. We did not participate in any activities.

Staff is wonderful and kind. Rooms are all remodeled and nice. My mom has a cute apt with kitchenette, large bathroom, long closet, sitting area, and small patio. The exterior could use some updating as it looks old but the interior is lovely. But it's the staff that really stands out.
