I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My brother moved to the Sonata Viera Assisted Living. Originally, I wasn't too happy with it because they were a little undermanned for nurses at night, but they have since upgraded. They have enough nurses now, and they got rid of some of the people that were kind of not very friendly, so I think right now they're doing well. He's got a 2-room place, but it's made for two residents. There are two rooms, one for one resident and one for the other one. They have a TV room in the middle with a cou…

Wonderful, Caring Staff

Their employees are top notch and how they hire such nice people is amazing. The reason I would not give them a 5 is probably typical of most Assisted Living facilities, but we have some issues with how often they call 911 whenever there's any incident (fall, cut) and it is truly up to them if they feel your family member is too big of a health risk. They're trying to work with us to keep dad there, but we're going through a lot to make this happen.

We've been going up to Sonata Viera Assisted Living. I'm getting ready to put a deposit down for the 1000 square foot assisted living facility. It's wonderful. The assisted living facility has wonderful facilities. I'm working with the sales manager, Rachel. I did a lot of research for the last four or five months, all the way from Alabama down here in the area, and the best facility I've found anywhere in central Florida for our situation is the Sonata Viera. Phenomenal Staff

The staff at Sonata are phenomenal!! There is not one person who doesn't smile and say hello, or offer to help. I've even seen the Director in the hallways touching up paint. They have been above and beyond. However, my dad had a health issue that took about two months to get cleared up. I was unsure of where the disconnect was....and I think I've narrowed it down to their in-house physician. Although he's extremely convenient, I think I would suggest future residents to keep their current physician.

Sonata Viera Assisted Living is a wonderful place. I moved here last July. It's just like a country club where you get a big dining room and facilities for recreation. The rooms are like miniature suites. They have cooking facilities, a small fridge, and a microwave. They also have a private bath and a closet. All the suites are furnished. The staff is great.
