The place falls short on many issues. The care is sub par. The food is inconsistent, some meals are horrible. The laundry is a disaster. Everyone there seems friendly, but I believe they are short staffed which causes every department to suffer.

I recently visited my 90+ year-old uncle , whom I had not seen in over a year. Apparently, his dentures were lost approximately 10 months ago. Whenever he asks the staff about getting new dentures, he is told "They've been ordered." I mean really, how long does it take? The poor man has no teeth and is unable to chew his food. I spoke to a rep about the issue and was told that "Dawn" would phone me to discuss the matter. That was nearly two weeks ago and I've yet to receive a call. I&a…

My loved one is a resident at Spring Hills Matawan. The only difficult part is the business office/communication. The facility is very nice. The living area and common areas are nice, as well. The dining experience is very good. I would recommend this facility to family and friends! They really go the extra mile for their residents.
