I really like the people at Spring Oak York, and it seems more like a retirement home than it does a nursing home type facility. I really like the way it's laid out and so forth. It was extremely nice as far as appearances go, and the rooms were large enough to accommodate a small apartment-type kitchenette, a bathroom, and so forth. My mom was in another assisted living facility previously and it was a nightmare. I was so worried when I had to find another one and in a short amount of time. When I contacted Spring Oak, everyone I interacted with was so nice and professional. Every time I visit, I encounter so many wonderful staff members that are willing to go above and beyond to make sure her needs are met. We toured Spring Oak York, and the staff was incredible and attentive. Mom insulted them the whole time, and they were just very nice. They called back several times and felt she was a good fit for the community. They were very good. The place they took us was newly renovated. The rooms were small but exceptionally clean.

My experience with Francine and Nathan and all the other staff has been exceptional. They have provided prompt and excellent service for my husband. The staff is friendly, pleasant, caring and polite. The environment is welcoming, and the facility is well kept and clean, and the meals are prepared well with a variety of options on their menu. I visited this facility

The director was very nice and knowledgeable but the facility itself wasn’t nice like I was told. There’s 3 separate buildings with 1 kitchen so they take containers of food to each building, it wasn’t very clean and it smelled like urine. As for the rooms one was spacious and the other was only big enough for a bed. I didn’t speak to the residents but a hi how are but they looked miserable. I just didn’t get a good vibe.
