Spring Valley Assisted Living

Our experience

The assisted living place was clean, the staff was very friendly. The food was great. It costs were greater than the care we received If we had to do it again with the exact same health issues of a family member, we would do it differently. I would recommend the community to residents who does not have terminal health issues.

Wish I could give zero stars. Spring Valley Assisted Living looks okay on tours, but the actual care is shockingly negligent. Do not trust this place with your loved ones! Spring Valley Assisted Living suffers from multiple issues: 1) Slow Response Times - Call buttons left ringing for over 30 minutes (mother had to sleep on the couch one night in her own feces), 2) Unsanitary Conditions - Strong urine odors in hallways or unemptied trash, 3) High Staff Turnover - Constantly seeing different workers, 4) Poor Nutrit…

It was not a good fit for our family

If I had to do it all over again, I would go a different route. My father in law was a high maintenance resident, Spring Valley was not a good fit for his medical concerns. The staff was nice but they needed more employees.. the room was clean. The food was great but the attention that was needed was neglectful with the care we were paying for.

Feels like family

The thing that sticks out most about Spring Valley would be the people there. The staff really treats you like family, they are great. The food is fine , but it could be better. the facility is very nice and clean. The people are awesome! I would definitely recommend Spring Valley to others looking.

a friendly supportive environment

I would recommend Spring Valley. what stands out to me the most is the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help. we visit frequently during the week, so we run into people there who communicate with us about my mom and her care.

a nice community

The staff members here are very friendly and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families. They are going through a chef change currently so the meals at times can be a hit or a miss but our loved one says they are getting better. They are getting more and more activities all the time and the residents get a sheet everyday that is showing whats going on and what is coming up.
