Our uncle is currently living there and is enjoying his stay. The staff always greets him with a smile and his name they know every resident by name this is very comforting to us. The food is made on site and they have monthly celebrations with new menu items for example for Mardi Gras they served Cajun influenced foods.

The independent living community, Holiday The Springs of Escondido, is very adequate and very nice. I toured it for my friends, and it was going to be $6,000 for two people, but that includes their food and everything. The facility is fine. It's not on the higher end, but the 2-bedroom apartment was very nice. I saw it has two baths, one with a shower, and a small kitchen. I think the only thing that they would have to pay extra for is if they wanted their laundry done. It's like $10, but it's nothin…

Honestly, I give Holiday The Springs of Escondido a 5 in all of those categories. My mom is very happy there. The whole staff goes out of their way to make it a great experience for the residents. I guess the food would be a 4.5, but it hard to serve that many seniors and keep it interesting but workable for everyone.

We visited Holiday Springs of Escondido. The gal that we met was very helpful, took her time with us, showed us lots of things, and gave us a lot to think about. This is the first time we've done this, so we really don't know what to ask. Another gal who was wonderful had to do with the meals. She saw us when we came in, was very helpful, got us menus when we asked, showed us around, and took her time even though she had other things going on. Excellent. The man who helped me called right away and really simplified the search for a place! I cannot believe how much easier it was to mot have to search on my own and he also had recommended a place that I never thought of which was a perfect fit for my sister. The value of A place for Mom service and expertise is I credible. I will not hesitate to use again if needed and will highly recommend to anyone searching for a retirement home.
