Experience with Bickford of Burlington

Staff is always helpful & pleasant! I don't have enough kind words to say about them. Staff makes if feel like a family environment. My father likes the meals, it's always clean, he likes his studio apartment. There is always activities. He would like to see more outings or rides on the bus. And more activities on the weekends. I would definitely would and have recommend Bickford to others.

One of the Best Community My Loved Has Been At

I would refer others to the community, if you can afford it. It can be pricey. I got a warm fuzzy feeling while I was there. This is because of the staff, decorations, and cooked meals on site. The activities are good here and they change them to assist the residents in being active. The only negative is they kept calling the primary doctor to increase medication to try to control my loved one's dementia. We ended up moving my loved one since the doctor wouldn't increase the medication anymore.

Great staff members

We chose Bickford of Burlington because we knew some people that worked here so we knew the staff members were good at what they do so we felt more comfortable putting my parents here. I have only seen my moms room and it is nice size. The best part about the community so far has definitely been the staff. I would recommend.

This was a nice facility to take a tour of, but they had no availability when my family was looking for a place for my Dad. The interior decorating was a little bit more like a residence, the hallways were a bit wider, and they even had a fish room and a bird room. The reception area had hot coffee and gave us a snack to eat when we came by. They were very knowledgeable about the facility and took us through the building to see units that already had people in them so we could at least see what the rooms looked lik…
