CriticalDeceptive Non-Caring Facility
My mother was accepted into StoryPoint Middletown in August 2026 after 3 assessments by their care team who stated they could provide an enhanced living level of care to my mother. Explanation was that enhanced living fell between assisted living and nursing home care. Untrue! The only people they are capable of handling at this facility are those who are independent although they give the pretense they can handle higher levels of care to get your money. 5 for all, except for the administration. They just changed some their staff. So a 4. What we like the most about the community would be the activities and the outings. My first impression was how homey it was. I also have to say at Easter they put on a spectacular brunch! It was fabulous!

We were told that certain things would be provided for mom and dad and we paid extra for them. And they weren't done. We realized once we got there, the first day assisted living at that facility was not going to work for mom and dad. Mom fell the second night she was there, went into the hospital and died four days later. The residents are really friendly and are so great about looking out for each other and being inclusive. The staff are very patient and easy going and always willing to help. Plenty of room in my Mom's one bedroom but not so much that it feels cavernous.
