Positive[name removed] was lovely. She gave a great tour and spent a lot of time answering all our questions. Loved how many activities they offer.

PositiveOverall, the apartment size is very nice, and the walk-in closet has been a wonderful feature. The staff responded quickly during a recent medical situation, which was greatly appreciated. However, communication with family members could be improved so that loved ones are kept informed when incidents occur. I also believe it is important for facilities to have clear policies in place regarding interactions between residents and staff members or contractors, particularly when financial matters are involved, to hel…

PositiveWe toured Summer Vista Assisted Living. It was very clean. The residents appeared to be very happy. We saw a two-bedroom apartment, and it was very nicely appointed. It had plenty of room without being too much to take care of. The residents that I spoke with were very happy there. No compassion or grace given after loved ones dies and the spouse can’t manage her affairs. It has taken about 2 months to get affairs in order and they have been paid but bc they kept sending pymt to the acct that had to be closed they continue to charge nsf fees even though I have made sure bill was paid.

Some activities were a bit higher-level like bingo or card games. Staff decorated for any & all occasions (which really helps mem care residents keep track of time). (Staff members were definitely NOT spending all their time zoned-out on their phones.) The memory care part is a small facility, they don't have many residents. It's a bit higher than the other 2 communit…
