The staff are friendly and helpful. I very much feel like my father is safe there. His apartment is small but adequate for his needs. There is an odd smell that lingers. There are many activities and event days. The facility seems clean. Everyone knows him by name. I've never had a meal there, but my brother at with dad once and said the food was good. My father is on a small and soft diet so he is not a fan. That's not their fault.

PositiveMom's Perfect Fit or Home Away from Home.
We are very happy with the care my mom is receiving at Sommer Field. She can be difficult at times and the staff I very accommodating. They keep me informed of her medication and other needs. Her room is about 9 x 10 and includes a toilet sink area. I visit often and it's always clean. My mom doesn't always participate in activities, but I have watched and I think they are well planned and all inclusive. My mom is safe, cared for and has company and that is the ideal situation.

The people are wonderful, and the facility is very nice. I would highly recommend. I don't really have issues with them but [name removed] has a difficult dementia, and it's been difficult getting the right meds and such for his care.
