The facility is fine. It is kept clean. My dad seems to like the staff and that is what I care about. My dad does some of the activities but does not like going on bus trips. He is afraid they will not wait for him. The dining options have been one of the bigger concerns. My dad has had difficulty finding meals he enjoys and has become increasingly selective about the food. I’ve started bringing some items that he prefers. I gave SummerHouse Bay Cove Memory Care a 4-star rating because the community is consistently clean, the rooms are well-maintained, and the laundry is always done. The staff is incredibly attentive, always greeting residents with a smile, and it is clear they truly love what they do. The rooms are spacious, and my dad is always well-groomed with clean clothes and brushed hair. We have chosen SummerHouse Bay Cove's memory care. So far, things are good. It just felt homey. The thing I like best about them is that it is very friendly, warm, inviting, and open.
