It has been due to new ownership and new management that my rating is high. Now, Heron East is Suncoast East. The facility is cleaner and staff is consistently better to residents. We are all so happy with the changes.

My sister-in-law was recently evaluated by her neurologist who recommended that she move to an assisted living facility. My husband and I immediately reached out to A Place For Mom, and they provided a list of options for us that fit her financial condition. After touring Heron East, we liked what we saw and made a quick decision to her at this facility. PositiveRecommend Heron East!
There are so many state rules that the facility has some challenges. This makes some things difficult. Wish that the aids and med-techs didn't have to be servers at meals. This makes their availability much harder for residents who will have to wait for assistance. Also, night meds seem to come very late on some nights. Great executive director!
