Basically the room size is small but nice for a single except for the kitchen. No space for storage. The staff: some are professional caring and helpful. Others not so. Repairs: work orders are not tracked or held to a standard. You advise the receptionist and she contacts the maintenance worker. No one records these requests, follows up on completion or asks residents if accomplished fully. The majority of residents are seniors. There is no help with handyman services, like curtain rods, trash removal, etc.

Sunrise of Abington was the first that we went to, and it was very nice. The people were nice. The only thing that upset my loved one and me was the fact that if she needed total care, it wasn't available there, and that they would have to move her. My loved one is already 92, so that makes it rough when you can't stay in the same facility that you moved into, especially at that age. They didn't have a washer and dryer. It was in the hall, and it was shared. So I didn't like the fact that my lov…

We secured a studio, accommodations are lacking for left side weakness in bathroom but clean, large window provides good light, during the day. Mice are a concern, traps have been laid. So on space excellent. Paying for "advanced care" option, not sure what is expected in this instance but have been onsite for 4-6 hours and check in from staff exceeds 3-4 hours. On front staff is normally kind. My mommy is paying for optimal care, yet having to secure incontinence, wipes, skin barrier cream and diapers separately …
