My mother continues to have difficulty getting clear answers when she asks questions about the level of care we are paying for and what she and her sister observe when they visit. We are paying a higher rate because we were told he requires two people for his care, yet when they visit, they often see only one person attending to him. At this point, I would rate #5 as a 4, declining toward a 3, because we never had a formal move-in meeting and it remains difficult to get clear answers regarding billing and care. #4…

The staff was great. The room was great. Unfortunately my father in law was not in good shape when he moved there so his stay was riddled with obstacles. I think the staff did their best to help with a complicated transition.

PositiveWonderful staff
This was a rather stressful experience of living our elderly father into Sunrise (for him and us) Unfortunately, he only lasted about six weeks and passed. He was never happy there but that is most likely because of his age (98), depression and the fact that we had to move him from his home so late in his aging process. The people at Sunrise did a great job of welcoming him and caring for his special needs. The staff there were very kind and compassionate.

PositiveOverall nice community
Staff is great, very helpful and friendly. Food is good (per my dad). He started in an assisted living medium studio- plenty of room. Currently in a small studio in memory care - a little tight, but that's what was available. My only knock is communication- we have to pursue them to get updates on how he's doing. If they were to address that, they would get 5/5. Some of it may be due to the medical director leaving, she hasn't been replaced yet.

PositiveOur Family Experience at Sunrise
Staff was awesome, took care of Dads needs. Food was good. We liked the restaurant service and the menu was on a 5 or 6 week rotation. The room was nice and meet Dads needs. House keeping and maintenance were on top of everything. We were very impressed with the quality of life my Dad had while he lived there. Also we would like to add how comforting and caring the healthcare professionals were to both us and Dad.
