The community was very clean, with nice-sized rooms and good closet space. The activities were outstanding, although the staff member who organized them has since left. Most of the staff were attentive and caring, though staff shortages were not uncommon. The food was okay, and residents were provided with regular snacks. A loved one lived at Sunset Ridge, and like any place, there were both positives and negatives. During the last year, hospice services were involved, and staff were helpful in supporting that level of care. The biggest concern was the frequent staff turnover during the stay. Because of staff turnover, communication was also inconsistent at times

We were lied to as a family by “[name removed]” we were told a bunch of lies about the care and what they would do for my mother. Horrible care. Most the workers have zero knowledge about even as something as simple as dementia. Scary .

The Sunset Ridge Assisted Living facility is very nice but there are some staff shortages and sometimes a lack of communication among the staff that is frustrating.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. Staff were always cheerful and accommodating. Lights were answered promptly. The biggest problem was a shortage of caregivers. Thus our daughter was usually given no help with morning cares. I would still rate the facility 4 stars! They had great activities for a short time but that person left and no one since. Our daughter was there and no one helped with morning cares.

We toured and genuinely believed everything [name removed] told us ! She said they were highly experienced in dementia patients and would work with my mom to get her to walk again. She promised a hospital bed when we arrived and even to paint the room my moms favorite color. None of that happened. The workers do not have any experience with dementia. Poor poor hand off communication.They lack common sense. No turning of patients every two hours ,my mom left with bedsores, left food just far enough away that was unr…
