CriticalFriendly - but understaffed. Room for improvement.
The nurses seem to enjoy their jobs, but they are understaffed. Can't handle situations that should NEVER happen to begin with. I have never seen anyone do ANY activities in the Emory care unit. Husband has been there 6 weeks. I pop in unannounced just so I can see what they do. Food isn't GOURMET chef ...could use a LOT of improvement. Cleanliness...staff will not go the extra to do something that they are not paid to do. Clothes are ALWAYS messed up. I haven't seen my husband's 4 towels since [date removed]. He h…

The staff is friendly, and they do a nice job keeping the place clean and well-maintained. However, the staff seems to change frequently, which makes it difficult to get to know people. I know this is a challenging business to be in, and I appreciate the staff who work hard to provide good care and keep things running smoothly.

The staff was wonderful-quick to be able to get her in, helpful since I'm out of town they assisted in delivery of furniture, food has some things that mom really doesn't like but they offer substitutes moms just picky. Apt was freshly painted, new floors, clean. Size of apt was bigger than I expected. Overall mom will tell you "I'm at my new home now & it's beautiful "

In the 8 months our mom was there, 4 directors, 3 nurse practitioners, multiple techs have come and gone. There was no stability with the staff. Made it difficult for them to get to know our Mom and vice versa...

PositiveFriendly staff
The overall experience I would say is a 5 except for the activities and the staff. I haven't seen any activities during my visits and I haven't met the new memory care manager. However, what we like the most about the community is that it is very quiet and close to hospitals. We would recommend the community to others.
