Overall, the experience was good, and the staff/care was good; the facility was very nice and kept clean, most of the rooms were private and a good size. Overall my husband was treated well and if something additional was needed it was taken care of if at all possible.

TerraBella Shelby was lovely. The staff was very helpful. They reached out to me multiple times, answered all my questions, and tried to help with financial solutions. I spoke with two individuals, one was the financial person and one was the director. The one room that I saw was just very small. It was a studio with a very small closet. It was dark and dingy, and I couldn't see my sister staying in there. The common areas were very nice. Everything was good except the room, which was more expensive.

Things could be improved but they have been very good about some important things. The hall smells of urine more often. The other areas seem clean enough. Again, staff changes lately but they are super nice in the building. Her hall has some super nice staff. The important things of keeping her safe, clean, dressed they do well. But no matter the complaints about laundry, many clothes just go missing. Cost has gone up and I feel as though it's already almost unaffordable for us."

I toured TerraBella Shelby and it was nice. The people were nice. I was impressed with the rooms and everything. They took me to the rooms and showed me what room I could get for my cousin. I met some of the residents there and they like it there, and we like it. They have a spacious bath, and it is safe to use every time for the residents. The rooms are large.
