Things to consider

They don't handle complaints well. They are to top heavy and need more real care staff to assist with patients. I think they had some fun activities but there was also lots of time where they were only watching TV. My loved one was only there for two weeks, but it was expensive. Make sure you use their doctor and pharmacy.

I visited this facility

We toured The Auberge at Kingwood. I like the community a lot. It's just open. It's airy. Everyone is very welcoming. The tour was nice. The rooms were probably the biggest that I've seen. We saw the nice dining area. If we wanted to come over and just have a private meal with her, there's a dining area for that as well, which is very elegant. We didn't get a chance to try the food but we were able to see the type of food they have, all the activities and everything, which is one of the thi…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

We have experienced both sides of memory care homes. Auberge of Kingwood is the best. Every morning with coffee I go to Facebook and watch videos of what my mom did the day before. I think there are more staff than residents. Very nice play. They have a very good chef and have family night themed food events weekly. It’s kind of like a big family Kenny is great. They take care of my mom very well.

I’ve seen both sides of memory care. The no good to the best. Auberge of Kingwood is the best. It’s like a family. My mom is always working on something and I get to see videos of her every day on Facebook. They have a real chef, great food and weekly themed get together for the families. I love this place. I no longer feel sad after a visit. I feel blessed to have her there

We love The Auberge

Place is very clean, no smells. I've become friends with many of the residents there. When I leave and my mom tries to leave with me, they know what to do and redirect her. We love the place. They keep my mom busy. The staff is great, they all know me by name, they send us pictures of mom often doing activities, I can go to Facebook and see her. They have a chef that makes great meals and it seems at least once a week or so they have a themed dinner for the families. Indian night, Willy Wonka night, Chinese new yea…
