PositiveHighly recommend.
We were struggling trying to care for our mother and find a facility for her. She has dementia. I called Avalon and they assessed her and had her set up in a room in 3 days. The staff is amazing and keeps me updated on her care. The rooms are a good size. There is room for a bed and furniture. She has made a few friends there she participates in daily activities with them.

CriticalOur families experience
My family was satisfied with room size & accommodations in assisted care. We are concerned at times regarding his care since he was moved to memory care. We were told he would get more care but at times have observed less care. Our biggest problem is finding staff, administrators to talk to regarding this problem. He doesn't participate in activities even though staff have encouraged it. He is not a social person so that's not an issue. He does require more help with bathroom issues. He doesn't know how to operate …

PositiveWonderful place
The rooms and the facility are just beautiful. Love the atmosphere love the cleanliness. For us personally, why I only gave it a four, is I'm not sure that they heard or understood the Care Mom was needing. Mom had Alzheimer's. She passed away in April, but she was at the point where she needed more Care than I think they were able to provide. Even though I went over the Care that she was going to need I still think I may have chosen the wrong facility for that type of care. Had Mom been able to do more for herself…
