My cousin moved into The Bristal Assisted Living at East Meadow. They have a phenomenal staff. They've been great, from the cleaning person to the person at the desk in front. Everybody has been pleasant. I know that because of her teeth, she had some issues. We had to get approval to get her back on salads. She did not like the mushy food, but she's back on salad, and so far, she has not given me any complaints about the food. I've been there a couple of times, even with her room recently, and every…

Mom been in East meadow many years, they keep raising prices as much as 8% after first year. The manager now does not always tell the truth. Elevator always broken. Looks great when you see it, but they get you on price every year.

My Mom has been living in this facility for almost a year. So far up until now all has been good. Recently she fell at the facility and broke her hip. She was in the hospital and rehabilitation for 37 days. Since being out of the facility they kept billing her for assisted care level 1. The hospital and the rehabilitation facility should have been the only place billing her, which they did. Unfortunately, the Bristal kept billing my Mom as well. My tour at The Bristal at East Meadow was very positive. It was a very nice facility with very nice staff members. The facilities were state of the art, with lots of updates with many amenities. It's a very welcoming community. The staff who gave the tour was lovely, she was great. She's very knowledgeable, she was very forthcoming and transparent about things as well. My mother has moved into The Bristal Assisted Living at East Meadow. It's an excellent place. The staff members are personable and great. Everything is perfect. I love it. They have bingo, community singing, and stretching. It is exactly what we paid for.
