I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

This facility is NOT licensed with the state. The staff is nice but do not appear to have any standard training (they each do what they want). But most of the staff did appear to care about the residents. Can't say as much about "corporate". My husband, who had dementia and other health issues, was there for 5 months before they kicked him out on a Friday night at 8pm for a behavior issue and I was told he couldn't come back. Thank goodness for hospice who helped place him in an ER room for the …

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My wife has moved into The Brook of Gaylord. We haven't been here very long, but so far, the workers are tremendous, very polite, very nice, and very helpful. They're much better than where she has been before. They try to make it as safe as they can, and every one of them is as caring as can be, all the people that are working for my…

I have a mother-in-law that lives in The Brook of Gaylord. It's very clean and very well taken care of. The people seem very nice and very helpful. They look out for the needs of their residents. It's a beautiful place, but it just costs too much, unless you're rich.

overall a good experience

The Brook Retirement of Gaylord has been an overall good experience for the price. my loved one has expressed a dislike of the food as it can be a little iffy at times. other than that my mom loves it there.
