PositiveThe memory care is newly remodeled and the staff are wonderful. The room was freshly carpeted and clean. The only complaint is sometimes it's hard to get access to the memory care floor as a visitor if the front desk isn't staffed.

CriticalThe building itself is nice, however after hearing what the directors say when they think no one is paying attention is absolutely crazy. While I was visit up in memory care I witnessed a nursing directions scream down the hallway “wh**e” in front of residents. I was in my family members room and was absolutely shocked. PositiveThe rooms are spacious, with everything needed and in good repair. The large windows look out onto beautiful scenery. The food is tasty, nutritious and the menu is varied. Breakfast is cooked to order. The same staff waits on you at each meal in a spacious dining room that overlooks a forest and a brook. PositiveMy parents chose the Cottage because of the friendly atmosphere more than anything else. We had toured other assisted living facilities. Some were quite opulent, but none had the friendly engaged atmosphere that the Cottage has. Residents spend a great deal of time outside of their private apartments socializing. I have never entered the building and found the halls and common rooms empty. I certainly saw empty rooms and hallways in the other facilities that I have entered.
