The Esplanade at Palisades

The Esplanade at Palisades. It was not suitable for my needs. The location was really perfect, but I don't want independent living. I'm not ready for that yet. I'm looking for an over-55 apartment with a nice community. The staff was extremely nice. I didn't even look at the dining area because I'm not interested in it.

The Esplanade at Palisades was very nice, roomy, clean, and warm. They had a lot of activities. The staff was very nice, very patient, and very helpful.

The Esplanade at Palisades is really nice. It is charming. It was a perfect time of year to visit because it's fall, and they have a lot of windows that look out onto the turning leaves. Our family was misguided and were left deeply disappointed by this facility that misrepresented their capabilities. Once they took him it turned out to be the opposite of what they sold. Their sales do not have educational backgrounds in health care. In the case of our Father, we were transparent about his Dementia and unsure what the proper place was for him. Non Dementia - Fully Functional Only

Their sales people are not educated in health care. They will accept anyone with Dementia. In the case of our Father, we were transparent about his Dementia and unsure what the proper place was for him. They assured us that they were familiar and had the proper structure in place to give him adequate care and were building out a memory care unit. He never received the services they offered, which were PT, OT, Speech and Psych. He only received PT sporadically. They mismanaged his Meds for months. They missed hygien…

We toured The Esplanade at Palisades. The people there looked very happy and were very involved in whatever activity was happening when we were taking the tour. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and stopped to give us feedback on their responsibilities as we passed. The size of the room is fine. We saw a studio that had an independent bathroom. We saw what they used as a model, so I don't know what the actual rooms look like. The administrator told us there were some areas where they were upgrading. So…
