CriticalI am a friend or relative of a current/past resident
Management is unprofessional. To be fair a few of the staff are pretty great people but the management tend to make there job much harder than it needs to be. In the past there has been food issues with the so called cooks. The managements cooperation with the families of people in the Gardens has been terrible. Meds has NOT been given in a timely way which has a caused many problems. Over all I would not let my dog stay there.

This is the worst assisted living facility I have ever had the misfortune to have seen. The people that work here are RUDE and they do not care what the people that live there want. All they care about is keeping the people's money. They are mean and hateful. Throughout my years of highschool, We had a tradition at our school. Every Christmas, Thanksgiving and Halloween, we would visit this Nursing home and send out our blessings. When Christmas came around we would sing Christmas carols to all the young and sweet souls in the nursing home. When Halloween would come around we would dress up with the members of the nursing home and hand out candy, not just any candy. Diabetic candy to those who had certain needs. The Gardens is an assisted living facility in Hawkins, Texas. It is a type B facility that can care for residents who have more comprehensive needs than residents in a type A facility.
