CriticalI'm now at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at River Valley. I don't like it. I'm healthy now; I got to get out of here. There are no activities. There's nothing new. I have a roommate, and I can't talk too loud now because he yells. We don't go out at all. They don't have a courtyard.

There was no phone no remote for the tv no guest chair and no tray.she went around and found these items which had to be cleaned! The meals are absolutely not for human consumption! CriticalPlace smells, always understaffed especially on the weekends. Always a change in staff. Food is disgusting and cold for the most part. You never get what's on the menu list. When using call button it takes forever to answer, same with the front desk, it takes forever for them to answer or you're put on hold. PT staff should be a bit more aggressive and push their patients a little mor instead of holding conversations, exercise your patients that are there for rehab. Rooms can be cleaned better. You got whatever they gave you. If it was oatmeal for breakfast, you got oatmeal for breakfast. They were supposed to provide her with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at every meal in case she didn't like what they had, but they didn't do that. CriticalThis rehab is horrible. I wouldn't allow my worst enemy to go here. Worst experience of my life! The food is gross, poor quality, and cold, it is never ever what is on the slip with your name on it. No accounting for your medical conditions when meals are prepared (it says on the slip). Nursing staff is either excellent or disinterested. All are overwhelmed. Wound care is hit or miss depending on the nurse on duty.
