PositiveIt has the feeling of a second home, not a institutional warehouse. Requires adjustment because most residents are in a more advanced stage of dementia. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and supportive, it just a difficult adjustment.

CriticalWe were interested in a couple of houses within this park. I called to find out the requirements. We would have been paying cash for the home and space rent would not have been an issue. (We don't use credit, we pay cash for everything, if we don't have the cash for something we don't buy it!!!) Their 750-credit score requirement is non-negotiable!!! They treat them respectfully, and they do not raise their voice. Before she moves in, the room had carpeting; now it has wood flooring, and it is very clean. PositiveI really would recommend Walnut Grove to anyone looking to place a loved one. I interviewed 6 places before choosing Walnut Grove for my mother. The care services have been above reproach. The staff is very hands on, very helpful and friendly. I get calls if there is a problem, they arrange for doctors appointments and I really appreciate that part of their program.
