BE WARNED!!! My father died at the Hallmark 3.5 years ago and they have NEVER listed his unit for sale so they will Not refund his heirs the deposit for the apartment. The SPIRIT of the agreement is that they refund the money as soon as the unit sells, but by NOT listing it they have effectively STOLEN [removed]k from my brothers and myself. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!

The Hallmark did not turn out to be a continuing-care community in the way our elderly relative understood it when he turned over his life savings for an apartment there. At the Hallmark, once you have difficulty caring for yourself, it will most likely fall on your next of kin to pay for and manage a 24-hour private nursing staff for you. Hallmark was clean and well-organized. It was excellent. If I were going to move, that's where I would move. The woman who took us through was outstanding. Everything was in beautiful order. The rooms were handsomely set-up. The tour was excellent. We were there for lunch, and the food was excellent. It was apparent that plenty of the things were set-up. They had a swimming pool.
