My husband was in this facility for one month.Our experience was beyond terrible.Fortunately we transferred before he died of an obvious infection that was ignored.There are definitely a sprinkling of angels here who do their best.The ultimate responsibility is with an uncaring and unqualified administration.The property was very dirty, rooms never cleaned.The food was truly inedible.Do not believe the photos or "chef-inspired" copy. I needed physical rehab, after a stroke. This place looks nice, they have a decent selection of food and nice rooms, etc. but they are "understaffed". I could not get any physical rehab until I nearly screamed for it. Their Goal seemed to be to keep me flat on my back in bed 24/7, which I did not appreciate, and that did me no good. No, I would not stay here (nor put anyone else in here) on a bet. MEGA $$$$ - and for what? Look elsewhere.

I liked The Healthcare Resort of Colorado Springs very much. My room, the care, and the therapy were good, but I was there for just a short time. Management was very good, and the food was good. They had caring nurses and doctors. I was in bad shape when I got there, and they helped me get to where I am now. The care and staff were excellent, and the medication dispensation was accurate. The physical therapy team was very well qualified and skilled, and I benefited very much. I would like to stay there in their ass…

By all appearances this is a nice place but there is some changes that need to happen. When you put your call light on you end up waiting a very long time. They are very short staffed. When we first talked to administration they seemed to indicate there were more CNA‘s then there are but evidently that is incorrect. The dining room is very nice and the staff is very polite but there’s a long wait to get served. The therapy department is very good, we were quite impressed with all of them.
