PositiveWe were very impressed with the facility inside and out. The grounds were beautiful with great curb appeal. There were 3 outdoor patios and easy access to a town trail and nearby park that would make for great outdoor family gatherings. Inside, the common areas, lounges and hallways were open, wide, bright & cheery. The rooms were well appointed with a wheelchair accessible kitchenette, small frig & microwave. The bathrooms had open, built-in shelving and safety features. a unique feature with dining is a one page …

CriticalAll of the reviews I found are dated, and they no longer reflect the current reality at The Landing at Brighton. This may once have been a four-star community, but that is not the experience today. Staff shortages remain an ongoing problem, the food is poor at best—consistently lacking in flavor, quality, and variety—and the newly decorated interior feels more like an airport waiting room than a warm, welcoming home. Most concerning, the staff often appear overworked and unhappy. Prospective residents and families …

PositiveI found the place clean, I watched people staying there being happy, laughing, talking, friendly, enjoyed eating their diner, doing different actives. Many aid were out and about. AIDS NOT ON THEIR PHONES. The aids were engaging with the elderly.

Positive1. 4 Setting up communication could have been smoother once dad was accepted and moved in. 2. 5 Very clean and inviting. 3. 5 Everyone, from all positions and other residents, friendly, caring, supportive, respectful and welcoming. 4. 4+ Not sure all techs have adequate or appropriate training. Ability to de-escalate confrontations with Memory Care residents, following All care requirements, which differ resident to resident. Ex: applying both compression socks and knee stabilizer (neoprene) daily then remov…

Harsh lighting, sterile design, and a lack of warmth or thoughtful décor give the community a cold, institutional feel—more like a hospital waiting room than a place anyone would want to call home. The biggest disappointment, however, was the food. Meals were consistently poor in quality, lacking flavor, variety, and presentation. The kitchen and dining room also appeared chronically understaffed, resulting…
