CriticalHigh turnover and frequent staffing shortages lead to inconsistent and subpar care levels. Showering, laundry, soiled bed and incontinence changes, general cleanliness problems, especially during weekends when there is no staff supervisor. After a year and a half of advocating for better, we finally moved our loved one out.

CriticalPoor hygiene care (showering, brushing teeth) for residents, beds not properly cleaned/changed timely when soiled, doctors orders (compression socks, meds) not well followed/managed. Foods are processed and starchy with too much sodium. Staffing shortages and poor training and supervision lead to subpar quality of care. After more than a year and a half of advocating for better, we moved our loved one out of the facility.

The facility is often dirty and smells of urine (despite the use of misting air fresheners throughout) with staff seen sitting around visiting with one another. Beds and furniture are not properly tended (they are left wet or soiled for extended periods) for memory care patients with incontinence, and wet and soiled incontinence products are disposed of near food service areas. CriticalThe facility is very short staffed. I have a relative there and meds are not delivered in a timely manner. The food is below average. Too many starchy foods and not enough fruits or vegetables. Providing medication and good food are very necessary for any patient in assisted living. I would give this new facility a very average rating. A new facility does not equate to excellent care.

PositiveI am very happy here at this community. The staff is excellent and very caring. The meals that are served are good. They do offer activities to those who want to participate. I do recommend this community for the great care.

PositiveThe Lodge is a beautiful place. There is lots of room to walk inside. I like the variety of activities they offer. I feel so at home here. I have nothing to complain about.
