PositiveMy friend has been at The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows for over a month now. She's not even doing her therapy anymore, but the people are very caring. They check on her all the time, and come in to see if there's anything that she wants. They check on her several times while I'm there, and she's always saying how she likes everybody there, and that's why she wants to stay, because she feels like they're family. She loves everybody there. I feel like the care is very, very good. They have …

CriticalI was here for a month then they discharged me and I went home. Then they called APS adult protective services so I went to the hospital again cause their home health nurse came by and said my O2 was low so then APS sent me back here this is the worst care ever I put myself in bed no one come around a long time and I was running off of portable oxygen oxygen because of my health issue. They never came in and checked on me. This place is horrible I wouldn't send my dog here

PositiveThe Maples saved my sanity after my mother had a stroke. They worked very hard with me to get her in. The staff is filled with kind and compassionate people who remembered names as well as details specif to my mother's recovery. I watched nurses treat my mother, as well as other residents who at times were verbally or physically violent, as if they were family. Everything was always clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I recommend this fascility to anyone looking for long or short term care.

PositiveMy dad lived at the facility for almost 5 years until recently. He had absolutely no complaints and neither did my family. All the staff on all 3 shifts were extremely helpful! They went out of their way consistently to make sure my dad was in the best care possible! Would recommend to anyone looking for skilled or long term care! Could not thank them enough.

CriticalTo me this is one of the worse nursing homes i have ever seen in my life. There is so much going on in that place and it is just covered up by the ones in the offices. You are not suppose to be loud or raise your voice yet a night male nurse used curse words with my brother yet the office staff covered it up to protect him. One time my brother ask for another cup of coffee the staff told him he had 2 good legs get it himself. I went to the office on that and told this lady she was only getting paid because of the p…

CriticalI wish I could give a negative. Only allowes a 1. I had to go in for rehabilitation NB for to a broken ankle and fibula. I was there 6 week's and was only allowed 3 showers. The shower chaires are taped together. The beds are very old and don't work right. The mattresses I would not even let my fogs lay on, and the food is do bad you couldn't eat it. I had food from home brought in and had stuff for breakfast and fruit for lunch. If my family had not brought me that stuff I would have been screwed. T…
