Overall a positive experience. My loved one was less than happy with me for removing him from his home. The staff at the Palmerton has been so helpful. Despite still being mad at my decision he loves it there. The people (residents and staff are so nice and friendly and engaging). He has always said the food was good. I ate there a few times with him and it tastes like home cooked food. He was participating in activities as he was able and loves that he got "cash" he could use towards treats. PositiveWonderful experience... highly recommend The Palmerton
I have found that the staff truly cares.. they are so good with my relative. He was extremely combative and angry to be there and furious I made him move. They were very, very patient with him and now he loves it there. He has issues with dementia...so he is still mad I put him there.... because I made the decision...but even he has nothing but good things to say about the facility. Highly recommend.
