The Plaza by Vivie

Rent increases

Be prepared to pay [removed] a year for assisted living, they also raised their prices for 2026 approximately another 3 grand after Vivie merged with [name removed]. I question why they receive government assistance and considered a non profit. How can seniors afford this?

We like the activities that are provided at The Plaza by Vivie. The staff was very friendly, and the room sizes were good. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and encouraging. The building was very clean, well kept, and updated. We toured a one-bedroom and a studio, and even the studio is a good size. The atmosphere was very open and clean.

My parents moved in. We chose that place because they're the only ones that could help my mom and my dad could live there with her when he doesn't need as much help. They seem to be very good, but for the amount of money that we paid, I think their response time could be a little better. They have all kinds of activities and offer a lot of stuff. They have a gym, a salon, all kinds of activity rooms, and a big place where you can have dinner with your whole family if you want. The food is also good. The s…

It seemed nice and organized. The admissions person was very smart and helpful. It's a little more constrained by being downtown in the small town of Anoka, but everything looked nice. The dining area was reasonably good. They had group meetings, exercise classes, and field trips.

My father lives at Walker Methodist Plaza, and it has been a great experience so far. His apartment itself is newly renovated, so everything is in great condition, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. And there are so many activities that my father can take part in such as music and exercise classes, games, and trips outside of the community. Really my only complaint is that I feel the food could be better. Overall, Walker Methodist Plaza has been an excellent place for my father.

We chose Walker Methodist Plaza Gardens care suites as it was the right level of care, a beautiful place, resident focused, friendly and helpful and near to where the family lives.
