PositiveVery nice staff and management despite a change in ownership going on. They were all gentle with my mother during her last days and they were very sympathetic to me. I would recommend this facility (now called The Ridge at Healdsburg) for memory care. I have no experience with their assisted living building but I would imagine the staff would be just as caring.

PositiveMy mother was at Healdsburg. Unfortunately, we weren't clear about her diagnosis at that point, so she was in assisted living, and it quickly became obvious that she needed memory care. And at that time, their memory care facility (which is adorable) was full. It's far away from me, but it's near my sister, so we moved her back closer to me. Their food was excellent. It's an older facility set in a very unique location. Inside, it had been nicely modernized. All the AC worked. It's nice ins…

PositiveThe food is sub-standard. They are short staffed and can take awhile to follow up on requests. I would only recommend them because I don't think you'd see much difference in other facilities, unless we paid a lot more. Everyone is very patient and kind, and does their best to support and care for the residents. That said, they are short staffed which can be problematic.
★★★★★
PositiveHealdsburg was a nice location. I liked the little vegetable garden that they have in the back that you could work in. Also, they had some animals there, which I thought was a nice aspect of it since I'm a country girl. The people were all very nice. I thought the food was rather bland. I was not impressed with it. It was kind of a small place. That's what my friend said about it. I think they only have like 35 people or something and it seemed to be rather religious-oriented. So, she kind of thought that…

PositiveI went to tour Healdsburg. I liked the staff that I met and I liked the way they had their memory care set up, where it was just a community around a centrally located place. The rooms were kind of all in the center. You just wake up and you're right with everybody. The staff was informative and helpful. I liked him quite a bit.

Positive[name removed] and her whole team were MAGNIFICENT! Putting on a western cowboy family party and bbq! Everyone dressed in cowboy gear [name removed] and all of us residents loved it! So fun!
